Colorful Colorado

One of my favorite things about my home state of North Carolina was the fall colors, especially in the mountains. After I moved to Colorado, I knew I needed to capture the fall leaves here. This project covers the change in color from beginning to end, taking place during August, September, and October.

At Summer’s End

I love exploring and discovering new places in the Rocky Mountains, but sometimes a certain spot really gets my attention. I found a trail called Devil’s Canyon as summer was coming to an end and decided to film my first experience exploring the 4x4 trails in my 4Runner.

Autumn Leaves

Working as a sequel of sorts to “At Summer’s End,” I returned to Devil’s Canyon just a few weeks later with the hopes of capturing the aspen leaves as they were changing colors. It became obvious to me how the nickname “Colorful Colorado” stuck.

DRIVE

This short film tells the story of struggling with being continuously online and not taking the opportunity to explore.

The Next Chapter

The first video I created after my move to Colorado functions as a marker for this new chapter in my life.
