An exploration of the Southwest through photography and video.
At the beginning of 2022, my partner and I packed our things and set off to travel across the southwestern United States. Over the course of 3 months, we had visited over 30 National Parks and National Monuments throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. I captured our experiences through photography and film.
The Challenge
My goal with Impressions Of was to keep the project as raw as possible. Experiencing 90 degrees in Big Bend National Park and 15 degrees in the San Juan Mountains presented difficult working conditions.
The Result
I finished with over 15 different videos, each one better than the last, successfully documenting the over 30 National Parks and National Monuments that we explored. The entire playlist is on my YouTube channel.
